I told myself before that I’ll post about our trip to Singapore but it’s only now that I have the luxury of time to do so.
(Disclaimer: I’ll be posting as if the trip was a week ago when it was actually last December haha)
Waiting at NAIA Terminal 3!
Singapore 2012 team: Daphne, Me, Tita Abby, Jgeckoy, Lola and Tito Jerry (not in picture), (so sad that Mom can’t travel cause of her baby bump!)

We flew via AirPhilExpress since Lola Medeng availed East West’s promo with AirPhilExpress. I would recommend that you fly with them if you’re on a tight budget but don’t expect too much. The spaces between seats were too small and it wasn’t that convenient. If you have a more flexible budget, I suggest you fly via Philippine Airlines, CebuPacific or Singapore Air. Nevertheless, whatever airline you fly with, the end is you’ll still land on Singapore! So yeey!

Touchdown- Changi International Airport! It was my first time so yay! We didn’t have time to roam around since it was already late and we were tired from the flight. (it was a bit bumpy)
HAGARDO VERSOZA ANG PEG!
Cousins and lola enjoying the breakfast buffet! (catch their atat maglamyerda sa Singapore look!)
Madagascar ride at USS! I dont want to spoil the ride for those who haven’t been there para masuprise kayo! Grabe, best in panic ako sa ride na yun!

and what’s a trip to Universal Studios without a picture with their famous globe!
This picture also reminds me of my globe picture at Universal Studios Japan. USJ might be bigger than USS but USS is still a fun place! Can’t wait to visit it with my family next time!
Night Safari courtesy of Tita Abby’s friend, Tita Malou! Unlike in Universal Studios where we spent hours lining up, here, we didn’t have to line up and we were treated as VIPs. Super thanks to Tita Malou!! She even treated us to a delicious dinner! Chili crabs yuuuum
Rawr ang peg sa photo na ito!
My cousin Jgeckoy, in his very macho self!
And we visited Tito Renel, who’s now working at Resorts World, Sentosa!
Yummy lunch too!

Singapore is really tourist friendly. They have so much places and things to offer for everyone! No wonder they’re very rich and progressive!
20 years. March 21, 2012.
Thank you Lord for the gift of life!
How I spent my 20th birthday:

For some reason, my birthday always falls on exam week. (Hence, the stressed face)
R2 studying for theo finals!

After theo finals! Hurray for the Kingdom of God!

Birthday girl picture with Sir Badion, our theo prof! (He’s really cute & funny!)

And whats a birthday without a family dinner?

with them cute kiddos!!

Thank you dear parents, for the cake! Love you!

When I stepped into the covcourts back in 2010, I had no idea that the next three days would be three of the greatest and most memorable days in my Ateneo life- ORSEM 2010: ZOOM.
I saw Ateneans going wild and dancing on top of chairs whenever Pyramid was played. I remember being amazed that they actually had choreography and these people looked like they don’t get tired. Who are they? TNTs.
During the tours, I was probably one of the slowest in our block. Mariel and I were always at the end of the line when mobbing. I hated running and the feeling of sweat and so I did not really appreciate the tours and mobbing…UNTIL I BECAME A TNT MYSELF. I did not understand how our TNTs, Kuya Matt and Ate Kiichi were so energetic and hyper until I became a TNT the following year.
Auditions were difficult. I did not feel confident about my performance but I still hoped to get accepted because I really wanted to be a TNT. Fortunately, I got in. Trainings were really exhausting but they were really fun. The TNT magical feeling started during the trainings.
Here’s a picture of me (all excited) with my block sign a night before the Orsem.

Being a TNT taught me a lot of life lessons I could not have learned elsewhere. The feeling of seeing your block dance the banana, chuga and pacific ring of fire is really priceless. Being a TNT is not an easy job, believe me, it’s difficult. It’s not easy to convince freshmen to dance and be hyper. It’s not easy to dance and run continuously for 3 days. It’s super tiring. However, it’s all worth it in the end. The feeling is super awesome that it even brought me to tears. It looks overwhelming at first but once you’re there with all the other TNTs and with your block, you’ll feel an inexplicable strength and energy that you will rarely feel during normal days.
As other TNTs would say, NASA PUSO LANG IYAN.

Now that the auditions are coming up again, I can’t help but be excited for those who are auditioning. I highly encourage everyone to audition and be a TNT! To my freshmen, block U2, I wish you guys will try out to become TNTs. I promise, it’s super worth it! I’ll be a super proud ate if even just one of you becomes a TNT. Jarvis and I will always be here to support you. Cheesy but, I love you U2! Being your TNT made me a better person!
Due to other priorities and academic plans, I may not become a TNT this year. It pains me to accept the fact that I can’t participate in this year’s Orsem.
However, there’s still next year. I promise to be back.
So..sign-up na! Promise, hindi mo to pagsisisihan.
This post is dedicated to all of R2’s Com11 events.
I just had so much fun in Power Up: The Ultimate Amazing Race, Carnaval de Jeux and White Out! These events made me feel even more blessed to be part of R2. Never expected our events would be so fun and memorable!

Who could’ve thought Mariel and I would finish 2nd place?

Photobooth at Carnaval de Juts! (HAHAHA)

and of course, our group’s event, WHITE OUT!
After many sabaw meetings, adventures in Antipolo, and intense brainstorming, I am proud to say that our ACTM project, Vertex II: Ultimatum was a success! Congratulations, LTC Core Team! >:D< We know we have exerted so much effort for this project and I felt everything paid off as we lighted up our lantern and released it to the sky.
We have been working on this project since 1st semester and I feel so blessed to have worked with awesome people.
To my project partner, Master Alvin, thank you so much for being the “master”/”expert”. I have learned so much from having you as a project partner. It’s amazing how we have learned to balance each other’s ideas and easily compromise and agree on decisions. Ikaw na talaga ang Master forever!
To our HR Program deputies, Candace and Krista, thank you so much for the GDs and for contributing so much to making the LTC experience worth it for our participants. It was a pleasure working with both of you!
To our HR Log deputies, Carlos and Leana, thank you for always being there and for being ready for oculars which eventually turn into adventures. Thank you for going all the way to Antipolo to find the perfect venue. Carlos, thanks for always driving for us (even though we almost died that one fateful night haha).
To our Strategists, Paoi and Reg, the team is truly blessed to have both of you. Your creative ideas and witty spiels are beyond awesome. Thank you for always finding ways to execute your great gimmicks! Best strategists ever!
To our creative directors Ja, Benny and Derrick, we may not have worked together for a long time but your presence was also very significant. Thank you for the beautiful promos and videos that added to the “end of the world” effect. Being a non-artistic person, I admire your creativity and artistic talent.
To our Strat representative and my forever friend Ayna, thank you so much for guiding us all the way. Thank you for always putting fun in work. I have always considered you one of my greatest colleagues because we never fail to value our friendship even during professional work. Your jo** is a blessing in disguise. haha love you.
To boss Xea, Gelo and Rem thank you for being awesome bosses! You truly inspired us along the way :)
To our LTC volunteers and participants, thank you for making all our hardwork worth it. We are proud of what you guys have become after the overnight leadership training. We were pretty impressed with your performance. The effort you guys exerted went beyond our expectations. We hope you had a great time!
I’ll always treasure this ACTM project. It will always have a special place in my heart. It taught me how to love my home organization more and it gave me a venue to get know more people from ACTM and even form stronger bonds with them. I feel so blessed that through LTC, I found new friends I’ll always have fun with and friends I can talk to regarding stuff which are outside work.
Thank you LTC Core for making me feel like I’m part of a family. I’ll miss our adventures and really funny moments! My house is always welcome for you guys :) It pains me to say goodbye and let go of this project and you guys!
Til our next bonding sessions! I love you Team LTC! Team J**A!
